GET INSPIRED!
|
| |
You have the time to make your dreams happen and do what gives you personal fulfilment. Make retirement the time of your life.
Do the course you've always wanted to do, plan that holiday, travel Australia, take up a sport, join an exercise class, help others by volunteering, open a little business – the world is your oyster.
Don’t leave fulfilling your dreams until it is too late by going through life saying “One day, I am going to .. when I get that …. I will do it” and then put it all in the too hard basket.
When you feel really motivated to do something, begin to make plans. Don’t let your emotional baggage, relatives, need to have a spotless house, a super tidy garden, or your financial circumstances hold you back – where there is a will, there’s a way. Life is not a dress rehearsal!
Inspirational people can motivate others to follow their dreams and aspirations. What they have in common the determination to make their dream come true.

70-year-old Jeff walks 5,000kms
Jeff Johnson’s mission to raise funds and awareness for NETS the Newborn & Pediatric Emergency Transport Service – by walking across Australia from East to West drew to a close on Sunday, October 2 2011 at 12 noon as he took his final step at Steep Point in Western Australia.
Jeff set out from Australia’s most easterly point, Byron Bay on Sunday April 24 2011 on an epic walk to Steep Point in Western Australia. It has taken 167 days to complete the 5,000km journey and along the way he has passed through over 200 towns.
Seventy years old, Jeff has completed his walk; but that was only one part of his mission – he still needs to raise $80,000 for NETS.
“I hope that everyone can support us in our quest to raise $80,000 towards the cost of a new ambulance. No matter how big or small any donation helps us meet that goal,” Jeff said.
